Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Specialist, Global Trade to support international programs and compliance within the LCC organization. You will help develop strategies for export controls, ensure regulatory adherence, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes ITAR/EAR expertise, experience with trade tools, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. This hybrid position offers exposure to international contracts and regulatory compliance at RTX.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree helpful.
• Experience researching and applying ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Experience applying for, managing, and transacting export authorizations (ITAR/EAR).
• Experience with Global Trade tools/systems (DECCS, SNAP-R, SAP-GT, OCR EASE IT).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit export authorizations (TAA, MLA, etc.) to DoS and BIS.
• Interpret ITAR and EAR regulations for Raytheon employees.
• Provide export authorization status updates to programs/requestors.
• Facilitate approvals for export of hardware and other activities.
• Determine appropriate export authority, exemptions, or exceptions.
• Participate in compliance audits and investigations.
• Develop and deliver training on international business compliance.
• Represent Global Trade in meetings with stakeholders.
• Assist in implementing export/import regulatory procedures.
