Job summary

AV is seeking a Trade Compliance Officer to lead export licensing, classifications, and training in support of a robust compliance program. You will ensure adherence to U.S. trade laws and internal policies across the organization, handling licensing, recordkeeping, and audits.

You will work with internal teams and external consultants to improve processes, oversee international shipments, and drive continuous improvements while maintaining thorough documentation and policy governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 12+ years export administration experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience dealing with U.S. Government entities and international customers.
• Experience with outside Trade Compliance consultants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage export license applications (DSP-5, DSP-73, DSP-61, TAA, MLA).
• Maintain current product classifications (ECCN, ITAR, HTS, Schedule B).
• Collaborate with external TC consultants and legal counsel as directed.
• Maintain Trade Compliance records and training logs.
