Job summary

UNS is seeking a Director of Total Rewards & HR Operations to lead the design, development, and administration of comprehensive total rewards programs and the HR operations function. This role focuses on attracting, engaging, and retaining talent while ensuring compliance and cost effectiveness.

The successful candidate will guide strategy across compensation, benefits, retirement plans, and executive rewards, while overseeing HRIS governance, data integrity, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, or HR Operations with leadership.
• Knowledge of compensation, benefits, retirement programs laws and compliance.
• Experience leading HR operational strategies, process improvements, and tech initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise Total Rewards and HR Operations strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Lead Total Rewards and HR Operations with focus on service delivery and efficiency.
• Design and optimize compensation, incentive, retirement, health, and executive programs for internal equity and cost control.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, analytics, and financial modeling for strategic decisions.
• Oversee union-related compensation analyses and support for collective bargaining efforts.
• Manage HRIS governance, data management, processes, controls, reporting, and lifecycle administration.
• Define HR tech roadmap including Workday optimization, data governance and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Payroll, IT and business leaders to align programs with priorities and regulations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing Total Rewards and HR Operations team; drive development and succession.
