Job summary

UNS Energy Corporation seeks a Director of Total Rewards & HR Operations to lead the design, development, and administration of comprehensive compensation, benefits, and retirement programs. The role also oversees HRIS governance, data integrity, and process optimization to support employee attraction, engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR/Business/Finance.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, or HR Operations.
• Knowledge of compensation, benefits, retirement programs, and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise Total Rewards and HR Operations strategy.
• Provide leadership for Total Rewards and HR Operations functions.
• Design and optimize compensation, incentive, retirement, health, welfare, and executive reward programs.
• Lead evaluation of Total Rewards programs with market research, analytics, and financial modeling.
• Oversee union-related compensation and benefits analysis and negotiations support.
• Lead HR Operations including HRIS governance, data management, processes, controls, and lifecycle administration.
• Establish and execute HR technology roadmap (Workday, data governance, integrations, reporting).
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Payroll, IT, and business leaders to align programs with objectives.
• Build and coach high-performing teams; ensure compliance with laws and fiduciary duties.
• Prepare Total Rewards materials and present updates to executives and boards.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and cost optimization efforts.
