Bodycote in Hebron, Kentucky is seeking a Lead Thermal Spray Technician to perform HVOF, plasma, and other thermal spray coating operations under supervision. The role requires directing shift staff and ensuring adherence to customer specs and job folders.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of supervisory experience in thermal spray, blueprint reading, and the ability to lead a team. Forklift certification and ITAR understanding are preferred assets. The position is safety-sensitive and on-site.

Formación

• This position requires US citizenship or permanent resident status per ITAR requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of lead or supervisory experience in thermal spray or related industry.
• Ability to lead, direct and motivate a team; overtime/weekend work may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and guide shift employees while performing production duties.
• Operate and monitor thermal spray equipment and robotics per procedures.
• Review job folders; verify pre-coating requirements and blueprints as needed.
• Set up parameters, perform in-process checks, and record data.
• Maintain safety practices and good housekeeping; report issues to supervisor.
