Job summary

Stantec seeks a Project Manager in Energy & Resources to lead multi-discipline teams on THERMAL GENERATION PROJECTS, for Owner’s Engineer or Detailed Engineering/design services across simple cycle, combined cycle, and repowering efforts.

You will drive client service, risk management, and project execution while promoting business development as a seller-doer, delivering projects across North America.

Qualifications

• Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
• Expertise in project management including leadership, scheduling, controls, and reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with team management.
• Experience with EPC/DBB/ECI delivery models.
• Knowledge of multi-discipline energy project services.
• Experience in business development and budgeting.
• Willingness to travel to US and Canadian offices.
• Regulatory and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to our team.
• Manage Energy projects/programs.
• Support and contribute to PM best practices and frameworks.
• Coordinate with leadership and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Ensure alignment of project execution with strategy and goals.
• Develop action plans from lessons learned and industry best practices.
• Support resource management, recruitment, and mentoring.
• Lead or support proposals as required.
