Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Principal Test Engineer/Test Lead to define and drive quality engineering strategy across mobile applications, connected devices, cloud services, APIs, and cybersecurity. You will lead end-to-end V&V efforts, establish testing standards, and coordinate globally distributed teams to ensure release readiness.

The role requires extensive experience in test automation, AI-enabled testing, and regulatory compliance within medical device ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading large-scale testing across complex software, mobile, cloud, and connected device ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of mobile, API, cloud testing, and V&V methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall test strategy, quality roadmap, and release readiness across multiple products and programs.
• Serve as the SME for software, systems, integration, connectivity, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Establish quality engineering best practices, governance models, and testing standards across teams.
• Lead AI-enabled testing initiatives, predictive quality analytics, and risk-based test prioritization.
• Coordinate globally distributed and offshore testing teams to ensure project delivery.
