Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Principal Test Engineer to shape the quality strategy across mobile, cloud, APIs, and connected devices. You will lead verification and validation efforts, drive AI-enabled testing initiatives, and ensure release readiness for regulated medical device ecosystems.

You will oversee global testing teams, coordinate cross-functional QA activities, and drive automation with CI/CD workflows while maintaining high regulatory compliance and risk management standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in software testing, systems testing, quality engineering, or medical device product development.
• Experience leading large-scale testing across complex software, mobile, cloud, and connected devices.
• Strong knowledge of mobile testing (Android/iOS), API/Cloud testing, BLE validation, and test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall test strategy, quality roadmap, and release readiness for multiple products.
• Lead testing for mobile apps, connected medical devices, cloud services, and APIs.
• Oversee BLE testing, pairing, connectivity, and interoperability scenarios.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, traceability from requirements to release, and risk-based testing.
• Coordinate with distributed teams; mentor testers; drive automation and CI/CD improvements.
