Job summary

Dime Bank is seeking a Head Teller in East Lyme, CT to supervise tellers, process transactions, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role focuses on accurate cash handling, staff mentorship, and adherence to bank procedures.

The Head Teller will drive sales referrals and service excellence while coordinating with Branch leadership to meet branch goals and maintain compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, one or two years of job-related experience, and adherence to bank training policies.
• Aptitude for mathematics and strong numerical skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service and product referral abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Tellers and handles HR-related activities with Branch leadership.
• Processes customer transactions in strict adherence to bank procedures and policies.
• Mentors and trains new Tellers on daily operations and product referrals.
• Maintains accurate cash handling and balancing at shift end.
• Promotes and cross-sells bank products and services based on customer needs.
