Job summary

KeyBank in Akron is seeking a Lead Teller to serve as a trusted advisor in our branch. You will identify client needs, resolve servicing issues, coach tellers, manage scheduling, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering distinctive service.

You will observe client interactions to uncover financial wellness opportunities and coordinate with bankers to transition clients for deeper financial planning. This role requires strong relationship skills and cash-handling experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years demonstrated superior client relationship skills
• 3+ years' experience in cash handling
• Working knowledge of PC with Windows-based applications
• Ability to lead, motivate, and foster teamwork
• Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking
• Notary License (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service and resolve complex issues in branch.
• Coach tellers and manage teller line operations.
• Schedule tellers and ensure branch compliance.
• Promote bank products and guide clients to bankers.
• Assist onboarding and training of new tellers.
• Follow policies and procedures; maintain audit readiness.
