Job summary

Ascension in Wichita, KS is seeking a leader for the Central Telemetry Monitor department on the night shift. This part-time role covers 24 hours per week from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

You will lead assigned telemetry staff, coordinate shift operations, and serve as a technical resource while ensuring policy compliance and staff orientation. Requirements include BLS certification within 30 days and a high school diploma or equivalent; applicable experience or technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; or Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience; or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks of the telemetry department.
• Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
• Serve as a technical or functional resource and perform similar duties with staff.
• Assign, monitor and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures.
• Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
