Job summary

AAR Corp. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Lead Technician (1st Shift) to direct a team of technicians responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, train junior staff, participate in interviewing candidates, and report to the Operations Supervisor. The role requires a high school diploma, five years of mechanical experience, and US Citizenship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of mechanical experience.
• Must be able to read and write proficiently in English.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors junior technicians, assigns daily tasks, and manages performance.
• Performs complex troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance on specialized equipment.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations, inspects completed work, and maintains documentation.
• Identifies and resolves technical issues, reducing down time.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
• Ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
