Job summary

Socket.dev in Lehigh County is seeking a Lead Technician for a second-shift role (3:00 pm to 1:00 am). The position provides technical leadership within the department to support customers, improve safety, quality, and productivity, and mentor associates.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical components on multiple product lines, reviewing drawings with Engineering, coordinating workflows with the Supervisor, and ensuring on-time delivery through effective task

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical technology preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience as an Assembly Technician - Level 3 or equivalent.
Travel: Limited

Responsibilities

Mechanical and electrical understanding across multiple product lines and platforms.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components during tool installation.
Review drawings and discuss tool design layouts with Engineering.
Work across multiple environments and platforms in tandem.
Mentor and train associates in best practices.
Coordinate with Supervisor to ensure material flow and equipment readiness.
Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues in tool builds.
Meet delivery dates by prioritizing work and reporting schedule risks.
Perform tool checkout and complete documentation.
Interface with Field Service and customers as required.
Perform other duties assigned by supervision.
