Job summary

Security 101 is seeking a Lead Commercial Security Technician in Boston to install, program, and configure commercial electronic security systems including access control and IP video surveillance. The role requires Mass D license and proven leadership on security projects.

You will manage installations, coordinate with clients, ensure quality control, and provide outstanding service while working with enterprise software and networking concepts.

Qualifications

• Mass D License required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience installing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a project lead responsible for complete project management.
• Must be process oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
• Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
• Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR.

Security 101 – Boston is now recruiting a Lead Commercial Security Technician that has experience installing, programming and configuring commercial electronic security systems as related to Card Access technology and video management systems with certification or high proficiency working with enterprise software.

Hourly wage varies from $40.00 to $50.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience.

• Access Control: Pro-Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, OpenPath.
• Locking hardware, ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin, Adams Rite.
