Job summary

NetApp is seeking a seasoned Technical Writer to join the Information Engineering organization. You will craft accurate, scalable documentation for enterprise hardware and software, partner with engineering and product teams, and help shape AI-enabled content workflows.

You will mentor writers, drive documentation initiatives, and pursue high-quality, user-focused content across complex technologies while learning rapidly in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical writing, content strategy, knowledge management, or related field.
• Experience leading complex documentation, content strategy, or information architecture initiatives.
• Experience creating standards and processes to improve content quality and AI-assisted experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical documentation for enterprise hardware and software including installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and upgrade procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, support, and UX to ensure technical accuracy and reflect product capabilities.
• Refine content standards and AI-enabled workflows for creation, review, maintenance, and delivery.
