Job summary

LATICRETE International in Gardner, Kansas is seeking a Technical Service Supervisor who will manage daily operations of technical service representatives and deliver technical support for building materials. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in the construction industry and 3 years in a technical support role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in construction industry.
• Minimum of 3 years in technical support of a building material or product.
• Supervisory and management skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills necessary.
• Knowledge of architecture and construction methods is essential.
• Detailed knowledge of LATICRETE product line and applications.
• Fluency in a second language preferred.
• Must have physical strength to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems is a must.
• Must maintain a positive cooperative attitude with peers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule daily operations of technical service representatives.
• Manage technical service representatives including attendance and performance evaluations.
• Analyze technical activities and report trends.
• Create/revise technical data sheets and advisories.
• Provide technical service to architects, contractors, and distributors.
• Review preparation of technical documents for proper materials selection.
• Supervise investigation and settlement of customer service complaints.
• Coordinate requests for technical service and training.
• Participate in job site assistance when needed.
• Represent technical department in management meetings.
• Conduct technical service audits at satellite facilities.
