Job description

At Cooler Master, we do not just manufacture hardware; we build the backbone of the future. Cooler Master is transforming from a component-based company to a system solutions provider with high thermal authority. We are solving the volumetric and thermodynamic failure modes of current systems, tackling the severe thermal throttling and acoustic noise that plague standard PCs under sustained machine learning loads. We are a global collective of engineers, creators, and innovators. As we actively expand our footprint in the AI space and drive major technological innovations across the industry, we are dedicated to redefining the tech lifestyle.

Position Overview

The Role: Architect of the Autonomous Engine

Are you a highly disciplined product execution leader who refuses to compromise on hardware performance? We are seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager to oversee our next-generation ultra-compact desktop workstation, designed to act as a desk-side \"Performance Anchor\" for persistent multi-agent swarms. You will lead the transition from concept to mass production, managing aggressive ODM schedules while ruthlessly defending our thermodynamic and acoustic mandates. You will not just manage a product timeline; you will deliver the only compact, zero-throttling AI appliance on the market.

Job Title: Lead Technical Product Manager – Ultra-Compact AI Workstation

Key Responsibilities

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Execute the Stage-Gate Protocol: Drive the C0 to C6 stage-gate execution for our ultra-compact workstation line, ensuring on-time delivery while adhering to strict engineering tolerances.

  • Enforce Zero Throttling: Validate that the system delivers sustained stock clocks at flat, continuous maximum load with absolutely zero throttle dwell time.

  • Defend the Acoustic Floor: Ensure the custom chassis extrusions and push-pull fan configurations maintain a strict, industry-leading noise floor under sustained multi-hour LLM inference loops.

  • Integrate Next-Gen Componentry: Oversee the integration of custom high-density logic boards, bespoke high-wattage power supplies, and advanced direct-die cooling solutions.

How to Succeed in This Role

  • Reject the \"Generalist\" Mindset: You understand that thermal performance is the product itself, not a secondary feature, and you will veto any ODM shortcuts that compromise our thermal headroom targets.

  • Master Volumetric Constraints: You must flawlessly balance extreme power delivery and heat extraction within a highly restricted physical footprint.

  • Data-Driven Validation: You rely on digital differential manometers and Class-2 SPL meters to validate static-pressure budgets, refusing to clear mass production without definitive proof of continuous stability.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years in technical product management or systems engineering within the OEM PC, workstation, or server hardware space.

  • Industry: Proven track record of managing complex hardware lifecycles with Asian ODMs, specifically involving high-wattage desktop or SFF integration.

  • Expertise: Deep understanding of thermodynamics, PC architecture, stage-gate manufacturing (C0-C6), and acoustic normalization.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Execution Discipline: You thrive under pressure and can keep cross-functional engineering teams focused on critical milestones without scope creep.

  • The \"Red Team\" Mentality: You proactively identify failure modes in supply chains and thermal designs before they reach the validation phase.

Why Join Us?

  • Shape the Narrative: You will deliver the hardware that allows enterprise IT and B2B architects to migrate massive AI compute clusters from the server room directly to the developer's desk.

  • Innovation Culture: Work with an elite engineering unit pushing the physical limits of compact supercomputing.

Personal Attributes

  • Collaborative, open-minded, and curious.
