Job summary

HOLT CAT in Irving, TX is seeking a Sr. Technical Communicator for Electric Power generation products. The role provides technical support to sales, service, and parts while liaising with Caterpillar on complex issues.

Candidates should display advanced knowledge of CAT power systems and strong documentation, analysis, and leadership abilities. The Sr. TC will guide technical problem resolution, maintain certifications, and help ensure market readiness of Caterpillar Electric Power products

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
Three or more years of related experience preferred
Experience with Caterpillar Electric Power generation products preferred
Strong troubleshooting and written communication skills
Ability to explain technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

Evaluate and analyze product problems to support Parts, Service and Sales objectives
Research product issues using CAT tools and PSCRM; troubleshoot and resolve issues
Communicate accurate solutions in a timely manner to internal teams and customers
Advise and report pertinent technical data to management for satisfaction and alignment with company values
Mentor junior teammates and maintain required Caterpillar certifications
