Qualifications

• Strong grasp of chess fundamentals and ability to explain piece movement, strategy and tactics to children.
• Proven experience leading groups of children (2–3 years minimum).
• Able to manage after-school classes and maintain student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead chess classes for 10–15 elementary students after school.
• Coach and train other instructors and provide performance feedback.
• Assist Area Manager with coaching visits and quality control.
• Help troubleshoot program challenges and complete class evaluation reports.
• Communicate regularly with supervisor and school administration during site visits.
