Job summary

Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking a Lead Teacher Trainer to oversee after-school chess programs and to train fellow instructors. You will lead 10–15 child classes, deliver engaging activities, and ensure high-quality experiences aligned with our mission.

The role requires 2–3 years of group teaching experience with children, strong chess fundamentals, and reliable transportation for travel to multiple schools in the metro area. Availability five days a week is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with groups of children.
• Ability to lead engaging, interactive chess classes for 10–15 students.
• Available during after-school hours at least 4 days per week.
• Clear, age-appropriate explanation of chess fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage after-school chess classes for children.
• Train, coach, and evaluate fellow instructors.
• Assist Area Manager with visits, coaching, and quality control.
• Complete class evaluation reports and discuss with supervisor.
• Engage with parents and school staff to support programs.
