Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Chicago, IL is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor early childhood educators in your classroom, implementing our curriculum with attention to each child’s needs.

You will partner with families and center leadership to support enrollment and quality care, create a safe, engaging learning environment, and uphold licensing standards while fostering growth and joy for young learners.

Qualifications

• Must have CDA Credential or be NAEYC candidacy
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid
• Capable of lifting 40 pounds and working indoors/outdoors
• Read, write, understand, and speak English

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
