KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois is seeking a Lead Teacher to provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care and instruction, while leading and mentoring staff and implementing the center's curriculum to meet each child's needs.

You will partner with families, support enrollment and accreditation goals, and contribute to a safe, engaging learning environment. CDA credential or eligibility, and 2–3 years of ECE experience are important, with state trainer status preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• State trainer certification preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support the best care and education for their children.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
