Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Illinois. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement the center’s curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing space for children to learn and grow.

You will partner with families and center staff to drive enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. The role requires CDA and/or state trainer credentials, plus several years of ECE experience; a BA in ECE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that suits each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
