Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, mentor fellow teachers, and deliver KinderCare's curriculum in a nurturing, safe environment for children.

You will connect with families, support enrollment goals, and work with center leadership to ensure high-quality care. A CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, plus 2–3 years of early childhood experience and CPR/First Aid certification, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that aligns with the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center’s success; collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners.
