Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks a Lead Teacher who will mentor peers, deliver the curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom for young learners.

You will partner with families, support enrollment and accreditation efforts, and collaborate with center leadership to ensure high-quality care. A CDA credential, or NAEYC candidacy, plus 2–3 years in early childhood education, are strongly preferred.

This role offers opportunities to impact children’s growth across a network of centers.

Qualifications

• Provide outstanding customer service and multi-task effectively.
• Hold or be eligible for CDA credential / NAEYC candidacy.
• Certified CPR and First Aid or willingness to obtain.
• 2–3 years early childhood education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state licensing qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient with computers; able to lift 40 lbs.
• English reading/writing/speaking for parent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and give feedback.
• Implement curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children's education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community, and partners.
