Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classroom staff, implement our curriculum, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children. The role emphasizes partnership with parents, collaboration with school staff, and support for enrollment and accreditation goals.

Eligible candidates may hold a CDA or be pursuing NAEYC candidacy, with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, and state qualifications or willingness to obtain them.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Have or be eligible for a CDA Credential; preferred NAEYC candidacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; meet state qualifications for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn.
• Partner with parents to share goals for care and education.
• Support center success; work with staff to meet enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
