Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor colleagues, implement our curriculum, and create a nurturing classroom. You will collaborate with families to ensure high-quality care and education, while supporting center goals around enrollment and accreditation.

The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and professional partnerships in a dynamic early-childhood setting. Strong CDA credentials, teaching experience, and state qualifications are preferred; a Bachelor’s in ECE is

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; able to multi-task.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy; state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
