Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, mentor less experienced teachers, and model best practices while delivering our curriculum. You will create a safe, engaging environment for children to play and learn, connect with families, and collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and a commitment to high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy preferred.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Read, write, speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
