Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Batavia, IL is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor your classroom team while delivering high-quality early education. You will implement the center's curriculum, create a safe, nurturing space, and engage families to support children’s growth.

You’ll collaborate with center staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, foster strong relationships with families and state authorities, and help shape a positive learning environment for every child.

Qualifications

• Possess active CDA credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• State trainer (preferred) and ability to obtain certifications.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Implement curriculum consistent with the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn.
• Partner with parents to support children's education and care.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers and authorities.
