Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and support families across our centers. You’ll lead and coach teachers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, engaging environment where children can explore and grow.

This role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and English communication. A CDA or NAECY candidacy is preferred, along with checks like CPR/First Aid. Minnesota premium pay is provided in addition to the listed wage range.

Qualifications

• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
