KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor fellow educators, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing classroom where children can explore and learn. You will also partner with families and center leadership to support enrollment and engagement, fostering strong relationships with teachers, parents, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
