Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher who will guide and mentor classroom staff, implement our curriculum, and foster a safe, engaging learning space. You’ll connect with families to support each child’s growth daily, while collaborating with center leadership to meet enrollment and quality goals.

The role requires strong organization, customer service, and teamwork, with opportunities to impact diverse communities through high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in child care or education.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy classroom.
• Knowledge of early childhood curriculum implementation and child development.
• willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification if needed.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement curriculum in alignment with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate with parents to support children’s development.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
