Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor fellow teachers, deliver the approved curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing classroom where children can explore and grow. You will partner with families to support every child’s development.

In this role you’ll help drive enrollment and program quality, collaborate with center staff and leadership, and build positive relationships with licensing authorities and community partners.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Active CDA Credential or NAECY candidacy requirements.
• Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
