Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Clarkston, MI is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to nurture and guide care for children from 6 weeks to 12 months, using the High Scope curriculum. You will lead daily activities with support from an assistant teacher and contribute to a warm, educational environment.

Requirements include a CDA credential, a degree in early childhood education or related field (preferred), at least one year of infant classroom experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• CDA credential required.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Willing to pursue higher education per NAEYC and MI licensing guidelines for ECE teachers.

In this rewarding role, you will help build the foundation for lifelong learning by creating meaningful experiences that support infants' growth, development, and well-being. You will lead the day-to-day activities and have the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher to provide the best possible learning experience and care for children from 6 weeks to 12 months of age utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

Job Details

• Status: Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am-4pm
• Pay rate- $16-$20/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in Early Childhood Education)
• Location: Onsite, Clarkston, MI
• Please note this position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation

• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential required
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred
