Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Clarkston, MI is seeking a compassionate Lead Infant Teacher to provide safe, nurturing care for infants 6 weeks to 12 months, using the High Scope curriculum. You will lead daily activities with support from an assistant teacher and contribute to a warm educational environment.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm, with pay range $16-$20 per hour, based on certification or degree and years of experience in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• CDA credential required OR bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom required
• CPR Certification
• Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities for infants (6 weeks to 12 months)
• Create a warm, engaging and safe environment for infants to thrive
• Collaborate with an assistant teacher to provide the best learning experience and care
