Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience with infants in daycare or similar setting.
• Knowledge of infant development and attachment theory.
• Strong communication with infants and parents.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Position Overview: As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing responsive and loving care to our infants and Preschoolers. Your role involves creating a secure and stimulating environment where infants can explore, learn, and form strong attachments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support infants' cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Provide responsive and loving care to meet each infant's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and nap routines.
• Create a warm and secure environment that fosters trust and attachment between infants and caregivers.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing daily updates on their child's activities and well-being.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic classroom, adhering to all health and safety guidelines and center policies.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members, including assistant teachers, to maintain a consistent and nurturing environment.
• Document infants' developmental milestones and assessments.
• Support parents in the transition from home to daycare and provide guidance on infant care practices.
• Attend professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in infant care.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
• Proven experience working with infants in a daycare or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of infant development and attachment theory.
• Exceptional communication skills, both with infants and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing and caring for infants.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
