Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Director in the US to lead multiple client engagement teams and support the national TAS strategy. The role includes business development, risk management and resource planning while mentoring staff and delivering high-quality due diligence across buy-side and sell-side engagements.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in financial services, CPA or MBA preferred, and strong leadership with US GAAP expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance required.
• MBA preferred.
• Eight+ years of financial statement experience; 5+ years in TAS environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement teams and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Provide insight on deal issues including quality of earnings and working capital.
• Lead buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
• Set standards for quality and client engagement sophistication.
• Coach staff in due diligence, decision making, and report writing.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and pursue opportunities.
