Job summary

Mission Driven Research is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL to provide coordinated communications integration support for THAAD efforts with international partners. The role will require leading systems engineering activities, coordinating with the THAAD Chief Engineer and UAE THAAD Engineering Lead, and guiding force design technical work.

You will analyze and guide force design, participate in international data link activities, and communicate findings to senior leaders.

Qualifications

Secret clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree may be preferred.
10+ years of related professional experience.
Technical understanding and experience with THAAD.
Experience with MILSATCOM.
Develop and present reports/presentations to senior management; strong written/verbal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide systems and interoperability engineering for THAAD with international partners.
Assist Engineering Lead with managing technical aspects of force design work.
Assist with international Tactical Data Link Architecture and data link conferences.
Coordinate force design efforts with government and contractor stakeholders.
Identify deficiencies in design reviews and propose fixes.
Document and communicate technical findings to senior decision makers.
Participate in regular and ad hoc force design meetings and exchanges.
