Job summary

Gov Solutions Group is seeking a MDA Principal Lead Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL to provide systems and interoperability engineering for THAAD with international partners. The role requires leading technical efforts, coordinating with government and contractors, and presenting to senior leadership.

The candidate should have a strong background in THAAD, MILSATCOM, and force design processes, with extensive experience in DoD programs and missile defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent in related discipline.
• Master's degree in STEM and 12+ years in missile defense or large DoD program preferred.
• Advanced degree may be preferred at this level.
• Proficiency with THAAD, DoD MILSATCOM, and related defense systems.
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills for senior management.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating with government, prime contractors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems and interoperability engineering for THAAD with international partners.
• Assist Engineering Lead in managing technical aspects of force design work.
• Participate in international Tactical Data Link Architecture discussions and conferences.
• Coordinate force design efforts with external agencies and stakeholders.
• Identify deficiencies in design reviews and propose fixes.
• Document and communicate technical findings to senior decision makers.
• Participate in regular and ad hoc force design meetings and exchanges.
