Job summary
Voyager Technologies is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer for Lunar Systems to drive the development of propulsion testing capabilities and verification activities. Based in Mojave, CA, this onsite role leads cross‑functional teams and guides design, integration and test of advanced hardware and software for propulsion systems and VTVL vehicles.
The role requires hands‑on hardware experience, systems engineering leadership, and deep knowledge of propulsion, avionics, and software development.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering or related technical field plus 5 years of relevant space mission experience including leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience in multiple propulsion/avionics/software/embedded systems, systems engineering, integration and test, validation, and configuration management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide detailed technical design, development, integration and testing for propulsion hardware and software for VTVL vehicles.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation and reporting; communicate risks and mitigation plans.
- Lead technical presentations and assist with proposals for mission and technology development opportunities.
- Collaborate with partners and customers to resolve technical risks and meet requirements.
