Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. in Mojave, CA is seeking a Technician for Voyager Lunar Systems to develop, manufacture, and test VTVL flight vehicles and related tech. You will assemble mechanical, fluid, and electrical systems and support propulsion test stands on site in Mojave.

This role reports to the Technician Lead within Manufacturing, Integration, and Test. Ideal candidates have hands-on fabrication experience, an ability to read drawings, and a drive to improve procedures in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Experience with fuel systems, fittings, and fuel line manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• Experience with wiring harness layout and manufacturing, including pinning and mil-spec circular connectors (MS-38999, Amphenol).
• Experience in a professional shop setting with a focus on tool management, cleanliness, FOD awareness, etc.
• Experience with high pressure fluid and gas systems, hydraulics, and cryogenics.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and proficiency in geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to help develop new procedures and processes.
• Ability and willingness to learn new fabrication techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and assembly for mechanical, fluid, and electrical systems.
• Supporting mobile propulsion test stand development, maintenance, and repair.
• Fabricating and assembling prototype components and assemblies, as well as the required tooling.
• Perform testing operations on a variety of test equipment including high pressure and cryogenic systems.
• Assisting facilities personnel in ensuring proper maintenance of facilities.
• Maintaining organized, efficient, safe, and clean workshops.
• Maintaining safety and quality standards.
