Job summary
Voyager Technologies in Mojave, CA is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to guide the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced propulsion hardware and VTVL vehicle systems. You will lead cross-functional teams, prepare technical documentation, deliver presentations, and engage with partners to manage risks and verify requirements, reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager.
Requires a BS in Engineering, 5 years space mission experience with leadership, and hands-on hardware
Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering or related technical field plus 5 years of space mission experience with leadership.
- Experience in liquid propellant rocket systems, propulsion, avionics/electronics, software, embedded systems, systems engineering, and testing.
- Hands-on hardware experience and demonstrated full life-cycle leadership in design to operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, integration and testing for propulsion hardware and VTVL vehicles.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation and reporting.
- Lead technical presentations and assist with mission/technology development proposals.
- Communicate with partners and customers to resolve technical risks and requirements.
