Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal System Integration & Test Engineer to advance radar capability development. You will lead hands-on testing, integrate hardware and software, and troubleshoot complex system issues in a lab setting, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes Linux proficiency, lab testing expertise, and a proactive problem-solving mindset within a security-cleared environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in system integration/testing.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, Shell scripting, Linux/Unix.
Experience with hardware and/or software testing in an engineering lab environment.
Experience with networking principles.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities for a radar program in a laboratory environment.
Perform hands-on testing and integration of hardware and software in Linux-based environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues under guidance of senior engineers.
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to address technical challenges.
Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports per program requirements.
Support system-level test readiness reviews, test execution, and post-test analysis.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and program-specific processes.
Willingness to travel up to 5% domestically.
