Job summary
RTX seeks a Lead Systems Engineer in Indianapolis, IN to provide technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines. You will work with program management, cross-functional teams, and customers to shape architectures and drive decisions through the lifecycle.
The role requires 10+ years in systems engineering, DoD security clearance eligibility, and a strong background in EW/Radar systems. Onsite work in Indianapolis with a path to contribute to SETC initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
- EW/Radar system development, requirements decomposition, architecture definition.
- Experience as Lead IPT Lead or Program Systems Lead Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Systems Engineering focal point for the program.
- Provide leadership for engineering execution and risk mitigations.
- Participate in customer technical discussions to shape future efforts.
