Job summary

Amazon is seeking a System Development Manager to lead the KDSI infrastructure team, defining the strategy for enterprise platforms and factory systems, and driving automation and compliance across engineering workflows.

The role emphasizes building and coaching a high-performing team, partnering with cross-functional leaders to deliver scalable, compliant infrastructure for Leo's engineering and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years leading system or software development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of system development engineers with a culture of ownership and operational excellence.
• Define and execute the infrastructure roadmap for KDSI services aligning with Leo's business objectives.
• Own delivery and health of enterprise platforms like ServiceNow and EDM supporting engineering data workflows.
• Drive factory and lab infrastructure strategy including Hexagon EAM and digital signage systems.
• Champion automation, IaC, scripting, and CI/CD to improve deployments and reduce toil.
• Ensure infrastructure configurations meet internal policies, AWS best practices, and standards (NIST, FedRAMP, ITAR, EAR).
• Establish metrics, SLAs, and processes for reliability of all infrastructure systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Security, IT to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
• Set architecture standards, SOPs, and disaster recovery plans.
