Job summary

Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) Engineering Integrated Systems Solutions is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II to own the health, resiliency, and automation of critical lab infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines used by I&T engineers.

You will implement infrastructure-as-code, monitoring and automation, drive reliable hardware-in-the-loop environments, mentor teammates, and collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infra.
• Programming with Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.

Responsibilities

• Own design, deployment, and operational health of lab infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Architect and implement infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and automation for reliability.
• Identify and mitigate risks to system resiliency through design reviews and post-incident analyses.
• Define operational best practices for automation, observability, and incident response.
• Diagnose full-stack issues across hardware, software, networks, and OS.
• Develop clear documentation and enable others to maintain systems.
