Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Lead System Specialist to lead the delivery of the email platform and consent infrastructure. You will run, scale, and optimize messaging data systems across global regions, balancing operational excellence with compliance requirements.

You will coordinate with legal, data, and marketing teams to ensure reliability, high availability, and compliant execution while driving improvements across identity resolution, suppression, and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years running complex, compliance-sensitive data infrastructure at scale.
• Proven track record delivering operational excellence in enterprise marketing tech or high-volume messaging systems.
• Experience navigating legal, data, and engineering dependencies to ensure stable, compliant systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive the operational roadmap for interdependent platform systems with high availability and performance.
• Lead data modeling, identity resolution, and scalable workflows for engineering, compliance, and marketing stakeholders.
• Ensure system stability and compliance by managing global configurations and cross-functional alignment.
• Own incident response and escalation for reliability events under time and legal pressure.
• Operationalize legal and compliance requirements into automated enforcement cycles across multi-market changes.
• Manage and evolve the preference center to support varying product/content options.
• Collaborate with analytics and engineering to maintain data extract pipelines and reporting infrastructure.
• Oversee global suppression strategy, including data extension logic and frequency governance.
• Define escalation paths, triage frameworks, and self-serve docs for Data Cloud, consent, and email platform questions.
• Present platform roadmap and dependencies to senior leadership.
