Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management for Email and Messaging Platforms to lead large-scale, cross‑functional programs. You will partner with executives across Technology, Marketing & Products to transform our email strategy and operations, delivering an agent‑first platform powered by Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.

This high‑visibility role requires executive presence, deep SaaS program experience, and the ability to bridge tactical delivery with strategic goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years (Director, TPM) of enterprise software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.
• 7+ years of conducting and leading SaaS product development programs; understanding SaaS business model and product development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on, detail orientation.
• Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; agile methodologies.
• Ability to establish credibility with senior executives and team members.
• Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills for cross-functional work.
• Experience with Portfolio Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs by aligning scope, release planning, and team vision with business goals.
• Drive software engineering experience using Agile and analytical skills.
• Lead Steering Committee meetings with key partners to resolve issues and decisions.
• Ensure business goals are met and drive strategic program vision.
• Develop strong partnerships with functional teams to focus on business goals.
• Be a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success.
• Coordinate cross-functional workgroup alignment meetings on release issues and status.
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and divisions to deliver program goals.
