Job summary

Capital One is seeking an Email Marketing Lead, Principal Associate to own end-to-end email CRM programs in the US and Canada. You will stand up ESP instances, collaborate with engineering and compliance, and drive a robust CRM system with data-driven metrics beyond opens and clicks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or military experience.
5+ years in marketing operations and CRM, esp. ESP setup & data syncs with Salesforce.
4+ years with Salesforce architecture, Pardot or SFMC, CRM field definitions & integrations.
4+ years of direct-response email copywriting.
5+ years evaluating marketing performance using lower-funnel metrics.

Responsibilities

Design automated email journeys and trigger-based sequences aligned with offline marketing.
Project manage ESP rollouts and migrations, bridging marketing and engineering.
Write custom SQL queries for dynamic audience segmentation and troubleshoot HTML/CSS templates.
Evaluate campaigns using reactivation volume, CPR, velocity and conversion metrics.
QA campaigns, ensure cross-client rendering and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate across engineering, analytics and marketing with a growth mindset.
Apply direct-response copywriting to create persuasive email copy.
