Confidential, a prestigious investment management firm, seeks a Lead Systems Analyst for the Portfolio Analysis Technology team within Investment Platform Technology in Boston, MA. This role collaborates closely with portfolio managers, research analysts, product managers, and engineers to enhance analytics and decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience as a Lead/Principal Analyst in investment management, with strong Python and SQL skills and hands-on use of industry tools.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Lead/Principal Analyst in a financial investment management firm.
• Must gather requirements directly from Portfolio Managers and end-users.
• Must have strong knowledge of Portfolio Performance Analysis and regularly utilize tools like Alpine, Aladdin, FactSet, MSCI Barra/Axioma, Bloomberg PORT, State Street Alpha or Charles River.
• Must have strong Python and SQL skills.
• Must work onsite 4 days a week in Boston, MA (Fridays from home).

Responsibilities

• Partner with portfolio managers, research analysts, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver portfolio analytics capabilities.
• Support investment decision-making workflows by analyzing portfolio performance, risk, and analytics.
